This policy explains how Richroyal uses cookies and similar technologies on richroyalcasino.cz. Cookies help us remember your preferences and analyse how our site is used, so we can improve your experience. You control which cookies you accept, and declining some won't stop the site from working.
What a cookie does here
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser when you visit our site. It carries a unique identifier and lets us recognise your device across sessions. Cookies do not access files on your computer – they only hold data we or a third party placed there during your visit.
We use them to keep you logged in between pages, remember your language preference, and understand which sections are read most often. Without at least one cookie active, you would see the language selector on every page and lose your place when moving between articles.
Which cookies we set
Our site places three categories of cookie, each serving a different purpose. The table below lists them by function and lifespan.
| Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Session management, language setting, security token | Session or 30 days |
| Analytics | Page views, time on site, traffic sources | 2 years |
| Marketing | Ad delivery, retargeting campaigns | 90 days |
Necessary cookies keep the site functional – they store your logged-in state and the language you selected. These run without consent because the site cannot work properly without them.
Analytics cookies track how visitors move through the site. We use this data to identify confusing navigation, slow-loading sections, and pages that are rarely finished. The figures tell us which content is useful and which is ignored, so we know where to focus effort. You can decline these and still use the site normally.
Marketing cookies support ad campaigns by tracking which pages you visited and showing relevant ads later on other sites. Declining them means you see fewer targeted ads but does not stop advertising altogether.
Third-party scripts and their cookies
Some features on our site – embedded videos, analytics dashboards, ad networks – are delivered by external services, and those services set their own cookies when their script runs. We list the main ones below, but we do not control what data they collect or how long they store it.
- Google Analytics tracks site usage and visitor behaviour across sessions.
- YouTube embeds set cookies when you play a video on our pages.
- Ad networks deliver display banners and retargeting pixels.
Each of these operates under its own privacy policy. Declining third-party cookies in your browser stops most of them, though some embedded content may not load as a result.
How to control cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies through its settings menu. The steps differ slightly by browser, but the principle is the same: you can refuse all cookies, accept only first-party ones, or delete them after each session.
Chrome – Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data. Choose "Block third-party cookies" or "Block all cookies". To delete existing ones, click "See all site data and permissions" and remove individual entries.
Firefox – Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. Select "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" or click "Manage Data" to remove specific ones.
Safari – Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data. Click "Remove All" to clear every stored cookie, or select sites individually. Safari blocks most third-party cookies by default.
Edge – Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data. Toggle "Block third-party cookies" on, or click "See all cookies and site data" to delete them manually.
Blocking all cookies stops our site from remembering your login and language choice. You can still browse, but you will see the consent banner every time and lose your preferences between sessions.
The consent banner and what breaks if you decline
When you first visit our site, a banner asks which cookie categories you accept. Necessary cookies run regardless – they are needed for basic functions like staying logged in. Analytics and marketing cookies wait for your consent.
Declining analytics means we cannot measure which pages perform well, and declining marketing cookies stops retargeting ads. Neither choice prevents you from reading articles, checking the responsible gambling resources, or reaching our support inbox at [email protected]. The trade-off is that we learn less about how the site is used, and you see less relevant advertising elsewhere.
When this policy changes
We update this policy when we add a new third-party service or change how cookies are used. The current version was published on 6 March 2026. Material changes are announced on the homepage for 14 days, and the revision date at the top of this page always reflects the latest update.
Questions about our use of cookies can be sent to [email protected]. We aim to reply within 48 hours during the working week.
